I need some catch-up time

Sometimes, the best part of "vacation" is coming home again. Vacation gets us away from the daily grind, but it also steals our routine and adds new situations that can be utterly exhausting. Today I am that sort of exhausted. I'm not interested in meeting new people today. I'm not interested in exploring. I am interested in curling up in bed with the windows open, three blankets over me, and the dog at my feet. I want to lay there, suspended between sleep and wakefulness, warm and safe, all day. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. I've got lots of work this week, coming from all directions. I am happy about this. But it means the blog has to wait until my other obligations get the attention they demand from me.

The blog will be updated again as soon as I have a chance. This is a big priority in my life. I'm working on organization and optimization so I can produce something more than a proclamation of my intentions.

Thank you to all of my commenters from last week. A handful of you wrote comments on here directly, and a handful more sent me private emails. All your feedback has been positive, and I appreciate each of you. You sent me very thoughtful responses that took time to think and write out. You give me the optimism and love I need to keep this going.
